That's all I have to say.  I was tempted to post in depth here but figured it isn't worth the effort.  It's not longer outrage, I am just tired of him.  He doesn't apply logic, research, or facts.

I plead for hard hitting news sites, shows and others to apply proffesionalism (I am looking at you more than others Fox News).  Thank you.

This is not to say other sites and shows don't do this, just most others try to be proffesional.  Fox gave up long ago and doesn't seem to care the harm they do.

Eagles bombed yet again when hopes were highest for them.

No cueing Eagle-fan butt hurt.  Cue a crowd of fans that are angry and violent taking it out on anyone who mentions this game.  I fear, deep down I fear.  The perils of living near Philly.

So, bets on how long it takes Brandon to purchase this one?  It brings together two of his loves at the same time.

Birthdays!

Since certain people I want to come out to dinner with me may not be around until the 3rd, I am planning to have my birthday dinner a day early instead of a day late.

So until somehow I find out this is a terrible idea.  January 1st, while everyone is hung over, I am going to the Irish Pub for dinner and people are invited to attend.  I would love the company if you are still in the area for the 1st, unless your name is Brandon.

Okay fine Brandon too.

Still.  I may need to call a few hours ahead as if I remember the pub is not all that big.  All depends on who actually takes me up on this one.  I am in the mood to kick it Irish style for my b-day and maybe get that cabbage, potatoe, ham dinner they have there.  Of course a couple of beers as well.

Anywho, take care everyone and see alot of you on New Years, ciao!

Happy Holidays!

WTFITGFHITS!!!!!

Anywho, another post real quick.  After I posted I saw an advertisement on LJ for California psychics.  It states:  "Is he cheating?"  Showing a woman with a man behind her, and says you can ask them one free question.

Fuck you.

Fuck you very much.

Anywho ^.^, have a good day everyone!
Well everyone else if giving a mini review with their views on it.  I for one was never a big fan of Obama or McCain.  I think what is driving me to vote this year happens to be the VP choice.

Palin scares me, I will get that out there before I make my little view on it.

Now anyways, on to the debates!

We all expect the VP canidates to be prepped and ready for whatever question comes at them and usually they are pretty good at it.  Biden on a few topics did his best to barely comment on the question and spin things his way which is expected.  Palin ignored most of the questions, and while she gave interesting answers to questions not posed it was obvious she didn't know how to answer varying questions.

Biden, without outright saying it, compared Palin to Cheney also after saying Cheney was a threat to this nation in no small amount of detail.  Ripping on of Palin's only on topic answers apart.  If you missed it, see the question about what they as potential VP's would do to assist their running mate in their presidency.

Palin made the sad mistake of trying to win over people by saying she most relates to the average family with her troubled and loving family.  Biden's response kinda killed that right off.  By the way Biden almost killed my bet that Palin would cry by almost crying himself.

On the note of relating to people.  Biden says he was once living on hardships, but as of right now he has money, a large home and a decent financial security.  Palin kept calling herself middle class.... yeah and I piss LSD.

Overall I thought Biden did better, Palin gets a decent grade for most improvement, but still Biden came in there ready.  He knows alot about foreign policy and it showed in their talks about it.  Also something to note when they disagreed.

Palin:  That's untrue... now let me talk about something unrelated.
Biden:  That's wrong, here's why, let me point out again here is why.  Now on to the important things.

As a final note, what killed me, was talking with a woman I really don't like much who may end up being my aunt, yay me..  If only because she is anoying.  I wasn't talking politics with her, she just butted in to begin with.  She took offense to my displeasure with Palin.  When I mentioned how little she knows about things like foreign policy, this woman replied, "Well do you think you know about foreign policy?"  As if to say how could I expect her to.  This stunned me on many levels.  My response was, "I am not expected to know the answers to these questions!"  Yes I should know more about it but still Palin's job might end up being having to know this.  I tried to make it make sense to her as she just scoffed.  "Look, if you go to a car mechanic and say 'my breaks aren't working right, my car wont stop.' and he replies 'well I am not sure whats wrong but your muffler makes too much noise which isn't good.' wouldn't you be worried?"  She just didn't want to hear it, which is good it means that I don't have to deal with her being dumb.  Also when I mentioned 1 million in assets means your not middle class she spurted a bunch of things, most not true, that tried to prove Palin was infact middle class by todays standards.  It was like saying 12 = 3.  It doesn't work.

Anywho I don't expect people to agree with me, but I expect people to see common sense.  Palin needs to brush up on what it is to be a nation leader if we want to feel comfortable voting for her and McCain in the chance McCain kicks it.  God forbid McCain kicks it but still!

* Grab the nearest book.
* Open the book to page 56.
* Find the fifth sentence.
* Post the text of the next two to five sentences in your journal along with these instructions.
* Don't dig for your favorite book, the cool book, or the intellectual one: pick the CLOSEST

"The room was empty!  It was barely furnished with odd things, which seemed to have never been used; the furniture was something the same style as that in the south rooms, and was covered in dust.  I looked for the key, but it was not in the lock, and I could not find it anywhere.  The only thing I found was a great heap of gold in one corner--gold of all kinds, Roman, and British, and Austrian, and Hungarian, and Greek, and Turkish money, covered with a film of dust, as though it had lain long in the ground."

So I forgot how much this book likes to keep sentences going.  Anyways, guess it!  The last line is the one that may or may not give it away!  I know guessing isn't part of the rules but try.  Vic is not allowed to help or guess as I have to return this book to him.

What were you doing on September 11th, 2001? How do the events of that day hold meaning for you now?

What was I doing?  I was in college, getting back from one class to drop something off and pick up a few things before going to my next class.  A hallmate called me into their room in passing saying they are not sure what happened but the WTC was on fire, she had just turned it on.  As we were trying to make sense of what was going on the second plane hit.

It was surreal.

I remember phone cards not working because of the lines being used and so such too.  I remember stopping alot of people as they passed to drag them in to see it.

I remember alot of things but that image won't likely leave my mind anytime soon.

As for the one below, I will do it for my dieing computer.  Since it has my interesting stuff on it.  I really need to go and grab whatever I can off of that and just refresh the entire thing.  It wont fix the glaring hardware problems, like the lid of that laptop not being really attached anymore, but it will stop it from eating itself.

Weekends and Gaming.

So far this weekend has been fun.  Except for bizzare tension between people, which I think we are all equally at fault for, it was great.  Took a mini road trip up to Bloomsburg to see my Goddaughter and friends.  The drive back down really wore me out though for some reason.  I was tired and out of it all day.  Still, I had a great time in Bloomsburg and glad I got to see those I could.  That and I miss Denny's, at least the one up there.  Great place to just go, get some food and BS for a while.

After that we came back, hung out with people down here, watch Jess blow alot of money on games at Dave & Busters and with her 6k+ tickets only buy a Candy Whistle.  I got one too but I didn't spend nearly as much or get nearly as many tickets.  I forgot how much fun Candy Whistles were back in the day.  Also, tasty.  We watched some Metalocalypse which keeps trying to put plot into random crazy bloodshed.

Today going to play some Mariokart over at Jess, Brandon and Victor's place probably.  This store came in fast so may not do much other than hang out there.

Bought The World Ends With You and Mariokart Wii this weekend as well.  The World Ends With You is actually really fun.  I love the battle system though I am not good enough or MPD enough to controlled a character on the top screen and the bottom screen at the same time.  I found some things to cheat now and then like easy attacks I can use defensively on the bottom screen while controlling the top and so such but otherwise I am letting the auto attacks happen.  Also the main character is a total dick... but that's another story.  If you are looking for a fun rpg for the DS I highly recommend it.

Anyways, have fun everyone, ciao!

Routes

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Smile

1)
So if I take a bus at 12:30ish
Catch a train at 1pm
Arrive in Philly at 1:30.
Spend an hour and a half in Philly.
Catch the train out of Philly towards levittown.
Arrive around 4pm.
(I miscounted and thought 5pm earlier.)

2)
My other option, just take the 30-40 minute drive on the turn pike.

Pros for option 1?
-Save 5-10 dollars for the trip.
-Can hang out in Philly a bit and buy some stuff like from the bakery.
-Can enjoy myself more.

Cons for option 1?
-It's a long trip.  Alot of down time between rides.
-I will likely spend at least what I saved on gas and so such on stuff in Philly if not more.

Pros for option 2?
-Shorter trip by far.  No waiting around.

Cons for option 2?
-Turnpike...
-More costly transportation wise.
-No A/C currently there for its going to be hot as hell.

I will see what I will do tommorow I think though.  Depends on how motivated I feel.

Birthdays and so such

Add to Memories Tell a Friend

My brother turns 23 tommorow.  Not such a big deal overall but it should make for a fun party.  Seems he has plans for playing a larger scale form of beer pong involving buckets and tennis balls.  This could only end poorly but should be funny.

The heat is killing me slowly but surely.  I don't do too well in heat.  I am a cold loving person myself.

Other than that though, Batman, Plymouth Meeting Mall, Regal theater at ridge pike, 6:30 pm.  If you are in this area and want to come along pick up your tickets ASAP. Anywho I am going to enjoy it.

So a good weekend overall.  I may make a trip into Philly Saturday considering people are going to the shore but I wont be able to make it.  Not sure yet what I plan to do tommorow morning.

Anyways seems we are getting together for some more Hitman Reborn.  Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Ciao!
